Students are formed into 5-man teams. Teams compete against each other throughout the course. After-Action Reviews evaluate the performance of each student and team after every detail. Teams are closely evaluated on overall performance and mission execution from start to finish.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen

Age: 21 min / 37 max — Waiver available for Veterans & Law Enforcement

Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Accounting, Computer Science, or STEM

Work Experience

3–5 years of professional experience

Former Military, Law Enforcement, or Intelligence experience (desired)

Specialized Skills: Cyber-Security, Finance, Linguistics, or Forensic Accounting

Training Requirements

Physical Fitness Test — must meet physical fitness standards

Firearms Training — must meet accuracy / proficiency standards

Defensive Tactics — Krav-Maga, C.E.T.A. (Close-Engagement-Target-Acquisition), Armageddon (Limb Destruction)

Investigation and Interrogation Techniques

Background Check Policy

A criminal background check will be required no more than two weeks prior to attending this course. If you have any felony convictions on your record, this may prevent you from obtaining proper licensing.

Misdemeanors will be handled on a case-by-case basis. The final outcome for licensing will be determined by the State Licensing Board.

Phalanx operates on a high level of integrity, professional conduct, and standards. Ethical violations — including cheating on tests, disrespect towards staff or classmates, or any other form of unethical behavior — will not be tolerated and can result in immediate dismissal with no refund.

Refund Policy

Tuition and Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If a student notifies us prior to the start date of a scheduled class to cancel, the paid tuition fee will go towards the next scheduled course or a future course date that best suits the student.

Students may also use paid funds to Gift to a friend, be credited towards another course, or purchase merchandise from our online store.

If Phalanx cancels a scheduled course, the student will receive a full refund within 30 days of the cancellation.
